We update our underlying data regularly. The real estate transfer tax (Grunderwerbsteuer) rates, KfW funding terms (KfW is the German state development bank), notary fee tables under the GNotKG (German Court and Notary Fees Act) and the requirements of the GEG (Building Energy Act) reflect the current status (last updated: February 2026).

No. All calculations run directly in your browser (client-side). No data is transmitted to our servers. We do not use tracking cookies and do not pass on any data to third parties.

The calculators are designed for Germany. The real estate transfer tax (Grunderwerbsteuer), notary costs and legal rules are based on German law. Versions for Austria and Switzerland are planned.
